Hochul introduced a completely new plan to shut down “illicit” cannabis shops and to guard the legal or licensed marketplace while in the state’s FY25 Enacted Finances, including giving authority to the Business office of Cannabis Administration and local municipalities to consider action in opposition to illegal/unlicensed stores and “those that empower Successfully Submitted (Awaiting Approval)
